Some of my favorite things…Part 1

Hey everyone….It’s been awhile since my last blog post.  I kept trying to thing of good ones and decided that I should let you all in on some of my favorite things…..from tinted moisturizer to bags to jewelry.  These are items that I’m consistently asked about when out, at work, or in general.  A lot of these are suggestions from friends or blogs I follow so I will give credit when credit is due!  Here goes:

My Black Michael Kors Watch:

I get asked about this every time I wear this.  It is $250, I had gotten a really great deal on it for 20% off at Piperlime when they were having a sale.

Next up: My Tinted Moisturizer from TARGET!!  Yes, I said it…TARGET!!

This stuff is the bomb!  I usually put my MAC Pro Longwear Concealer on trouble areas and then put this over top.  It gives me great coverage, blends the concealer and is not heavy at ALL!  The best part…it’s only $11.99.  Another great benefit…it lasts forever.  My mom lent me hers during Thanksgiving of 2013 and let me keep it.  I have been using the same bottle since then…November 2013 until February 2015.  Unreal!  Get it here!

Those who know me, know I love a good scarf.  The minute the temperature drops below 60 degrees, I’ve got one on.  My favorite, go to scarf is this Women’s Tasha ‘The Ringer’ Infinity Scarf (2 for $38)

There are 2 for $38!  I’m not joking when I say they are my go to’s.  I had gone to Nordstrom’s personal stylist in Columbus, Sean Wolfe (adore him) and he had paired the gray and yellow ones with some cute skirt outfits. I now have Gray, Black, Yellow, and Purple!  My mom has the red one that I occasionally borrow.  Infinity scarves are so easy because you don’t have to fuss with how to wear them/tie them.  These ones are super lightweight and soft too!  Get them here!  Women’s Tasha ‘The Ringer’ Infinity Scarf (2 for $38)

P.S. The Nordstrom Personal Stylist service is amazing.  They do not pressure you to buy anything (although I ended up spending $700 for two suits, two scarves, two blouses, and an awesome dress for work).  I was on the hunt for a new work ensemble.  I highly recommend it.

My new obsession…..Women’s Zella ‘Live In’ Cross Dye Leggings, Size Medium – Black Black Size Medium

I’m a big fan of Lululemon leggings, but sometime my budget doesn’t allow me to spend that much.  I went to the Nordstrom Semi-Annual Sale and found a pair of Zella Live In Capri’s in Pink and fell in love.  I ended up buying another pair, the Live In Cross Dye ones (pictured above in pink).  They are so comfy, so much cheaper than lulu, and they stay in place when I’m doing yoga or barre!  I absolutely hate having to pull them up during practice.  Right now, Nordstrom Rack has a pair on sale for $24.97!  Find them here! The cross dye ones above are out of stock but you can find the black pair here! I have to thank my co-worker/friend, Kacey, for turning me on to the Un-Fancy Blog! Caroline is a fashion blogger that creates capsule wardrobes…basically a minimalist wardrobe, which is opposite of what I have! Although I couldn’t get to this if I tried, she has some great basic pieces that I have fallen in love with.  One of them is this Junior Women’s Street Level Reversible Vegan Leather Tote & Wristlet – Black

Kacey said the inside smells weird when you first get it, but 1) I didn’t notice it and 2) she said it went away.  I absolutely love this tote.  It’s very simple, reversible…the inside is a Cognac color, and it’s only $48.  It holds EVERYTHING! I personally like the black side better, but I’ve worn the Cognac side as well.  It comes in Black/Cognac, Hematite/Black, and Pink/Taupe.  Find it here!
